To us comfort food is food that is associated with the security of childhood. We sometimes go for indulgent food because we feel pampered. When we want something to hit the spot, we go for foods that bring us happy feelings. Some find simple satisfaction with food that are easy to buy and easy to eat- even when on the go.

So however which way we get our fix – be it self-served, conveniently from our home kitchen or we go through a massive production number to schedule the feast- what fuels our belly also gives us solace.
